Steven Yancey Cate 36, of Tucson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2014 surrounded by family. He is survived by his mother, Kathie Cate; father, Jack Cate Jr. (Emma); sisters, Yvonne (Dan), Leslie (Dave), Brandy and brothers, RJ (Jenny) and Ryan. To know Steve was to love him. To be a part of his life was truly a gift. A Memorial Service will be held at Jesus Reigns Christian Fellowship, 5337 S. Palo Verde Rd., Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. A special thanks and acknowledgement goes to BJ and Anita Hauri who cared for and loved Steve for the past 6+ years of his life, as if he were one of their own and we'll forever be grateful.
