Patricia Maureen Redding Family and friends of Patti Redding mourn the loss of a remarkable, generous and talented soul. She was the loving wife and mother of Gregory and Patrick Redding, and passed away at home surrounded by her family and friends on September 23, 2015. Patti was a graduate of the University of Arizona, and worked for 22 years as a business systems analyst at the University Medical Center. After the death of her treasured daughter Juliana in 2008, Patti turned her grief into a flourishing art career. Patty was in awe of the willpower and fierce determination of her subjects. Her focus included a series on competing athletes and Western themes, such as the Rodeo; all filled with action and movement. She was a naturally gifted painter and her art is in galleries, museums and private collections around the country. Her legacy will live on through her art; a gift to all. She is the daughter of Patricia Arida of Tucson, and Marlyn Boruff of Venice, Florida and sister to Liz Richardson and Bill and Matt Boruff; she also has numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Private services were held at DeGrazia Studio Chapel on Saturday, September 26, 2015 with family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Youth on Their Own "YOTO" a Tucson foundation to assist homeless youth. Please specify the Juliana Redding Endowment when making your donation.
