Age 76, passed away Nov. 23, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Geraldine, his brother Richard of Tucson, and sons James, Jr. of Lenexa, KS, Gary, of Sioux City, IA. and granddaughters, Kaitlin Farmer, Kelsie O'Hair both of Tucson, Emily Walbert of IA and Campbell Walbert of KS and great grandchild, Killian O'Hair, of Tucson. He was a 1962 graduate of the University of Arizona and worked for Del Monte Corporation in San Francisco, CA, and E & J Gallo Winery in Modesto, CA, before returning to the University of Arizona where he spent 23 years as a supervisor in Business Administration, winning the 1992 Billy Joe Varney Award for Excellence. He was also a former volunteer for U of A track events as a Finish Line Judge and was a lifelong fan of U of A sports. He will be missed by his many friends and family members. Visitation will be held at ADAIR Funeral Homes, 8090 Northern Ave & Magee Rd, on Monday, November 30 from 4-8pm. In lieu of Flowers please send donations to the University of Arizona Foundation (UAF), P. O. Box 210109, 1111 N. Cherry Ave, Tucson, AZ 85721-0109. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Holy Hope Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on December 1, 2015.
