November 10th, 1941 - April 1st, 2016
MACIAS, Isela S. 74, born November 10, 1941 passed peacefully on April 1, 2016 surrounded by her beloved family. Isela long time resident of El Paso, TX with her late husband of 41 years, Sergio A. Macias and six children. At the age of 50 she became a naturalized U.S. Citizen received her GED and Associates Degree from El Paso CC and established home daycare business. She moved to Tucson in 2005 where she was an active volunteer at the University Cancer Center and her Bible Group at St. Cyril's Church. She took great pleasure and pride in nurturing her family and friends and keeping them close together and was the laughter of every event always centered around her fabulous cooking. Isela was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Garcia. She is survived by her loving sisters, Sara S. Valencia and Rosa S. Gonzalez, and her pride and joy children, Laura Moya, Martha (Ed) Blohm, Patricia (Curtis) Rohmer, Elizabeth (Luis) Galvan, Catalina (Bruce) Buffum and Sergio Jr. (Imelda) Macias; beloved grandchildren Isaac and Nick Moya, Jonathan and Tyler Blohm, Thomas, Eric and Mark Rohmer, Steven, Mathew and Samuel Galvan, Jayden and Jordan Buffum and Maiya Macias. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at Adair/Avalon Chapel, Oro Valley AZ; Mass on Saturday, April 9, 2016 10:00 a.m. at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Tucson, AZ; Interment on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, El Paso, TX. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Avalon Chapel
