WILSON, Helen A. Born in Massillon, Ohio, Helen moved to Tucson in 1939. Helen died peacefully April 8, 2016 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her five children, Peggy (Ken) Carlson, Bobby (Karen), Cynthia (Mark) Remme, Brian (Lisa) and Craig (Connie), 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Helen was preceded in death by Jim (July 2015), her beloved husband of 67 years. Helen took great pride and joy in being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Helen was home-maker, seamstress and active in the UMW church women's group. In retirement, Jim and Helen became gourd artists, selling their gourd art at shows across the Southwest. They also taught gourd art classes. Memorial Services will be at First United Methodist Church, 915 E. 4th, on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts to the First United Methodist Children's Ministry or Casa de la Luz Foundation, are requested in memory of Helen.
