JORDE, Steven Lee age 69, died on May 25, 2016 in Tucson, Ariz. Steve was born February 4, 1947, in San Fernando, Calif. Steve grew up in Oregon graduating from Crater High School in Central Point. As a young man he enjoyed many sports, including wrestling in which he competed at the state level. He attended the University of Oregon, graduating with a Bachelors and MBA in finance. He married his high school sweetheart, Carol Norris. They were married 37 years until Carol's passing in 2003. Steve and Carol lived out their early years in Redmond, Wash. Steve served 11 years in the Washington National Guard leaving with honorable discharge at the rank of Captain. Steve and his family enjoyed many vacations together on the water in their boat. In 2000, Steve and Carol moved to Tucson to enjoy sunnier days. Steve found enjoyment watching wildlife around Tucson including doves, quail, coyotes, javelinas, lizards, snakes, and his precious hummingbirds. Steve found new love with his second wife, Tammy. They met on a plane going home to Seattle for Christmas. Love struck and they were married on May 21, 2005. He always said he was so lucky to have had two great loves in his life. Steve is survived by his wife, Tammy; two sons, Gavin and Grant; grandchildren, Ethan, Tristan and Kaden and sister, Janice. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Lila and brother, Kenneth. Steve will be interred at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue, Wash. Memorial Services will be at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Kirkland, Wash on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel
