Marjorie "Marge" Forkner Hilts
March 10th, 1927 - July 10th, 2017
HILTS, Marjorie (Marge) Forkner died in her sleep last Monday, July 10, 2017. Born March 10, 1927, in Berkeley, CA., she moved to NYC in her teens. While attending Stanford and Johns Hopkins, she married Schuyler V. Hilts. In Tucson since 1957, she performed and directed at the Corral and Playbox Theatres, and directed the Tucson Press Club Gridiron Show for 28 years. She was a board member of ACLU, Girls Club, Planned Parenthood, Common Cause, and Literacy Volunteers. Marjorie loved traveling and visited six continents in her lifetime. She is survived by her children, Craig, Susan (Brown), Janet, Helen and Cynthia; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held in September 2017. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
