Charles "Chuck" Gomez
April 9th, 1939 - August 15th, 2017
Charles "Chuck" Gomez Sr. went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2017. He is preceded in death by son Chris Edward, survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances H. Gomez, son Charles Jr., daughters Reynetta (Michael) and Debra, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was a loving husband and father. Chuck served in the U.S. Air Force and Army National Guard; after which, he worked for Magma Copper (BHP) for over 34 years. He proudly served as a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion. In his healthier days, he had an unending love for golf and bowling. He was an avid reader, enjoyed playing live Keno, and had a great sense of humor. Chuck was a friend to many, loved by all, and will be greatly missed.
