Hazel Marie (Ryan) Adams August 18, 1929- November 19, 2017 Hazel Marie (Ryan) Adams left this earthly life to be with the Lord on November 19, 2017. She was born August 18, 1929 to the late Mary (Moody) and Eugene Ryan in Meridian, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Nathaniel Ryan and Robert Ryan as well as a loving aunt, Elizabeth Moody as well as two nieces. Hazel graduated from Harris High School, Meridian, Mississippi and Jackson State (College) University. She completed her education in 1951 and began her career as a teacher. She worked in Mississippi and Tucson, Arizona. She was a teacher in Tucson until she retired. Hazel was a member of many organizations including the Tucson Chapter of the Links, which she was involved for many years. Hazel is survived by her loving husband, Willie Roy Adams, Tucson, Arizona of 63 years, daughters Marion Meta Adams of Tucson, Arizona and Sylvia Yvonne Adams of Phoenix, Arizona, a niece, Venetia Ryan of Collinsville. Mississippi: nephew Dorian (Joyal) Simmons of Goodyear, Arizona in addition to many beloved relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 2:30pm - 5:00pm at Adair Funeral Homes, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. Tucson, Arizona 85716.
