On January 7, 2018, Pearl Morgan, 96, of Oro Valley went to be with the Lord. She was born on June 23, 1921 to William and Euphrasia (Rushing) Moore at Konawa, OK., attended school in a one-room schoolhouse, left school after grade 8 to help on the family farm. Nov 23rd, 1940, married Carl G. Morgan, and chose a career as homemaker. They had two children, Frances Carlene (Candy), and John William. Pearl received her GED in 1968, a proud accomplishment. She and Carl lived a military life in numerous places finally moving to Sierra Vista, AZ, in 1956, where they lived together until Carl's passing in 1995. They attended 1st Baptist Church. She was a dedicated Christian and taught a women's Bible study for 40 years known as Pearl's Girls. At age 11 she professed her faith in Jesus at a camp meeting; was baptized in a pond. Her relationship with Christ was visible to all as she shared her faith and what Jesus meant to her. Survived by sister Ruth Ziegler; Children: Candy (Larry) Kincaid, John (Claire) Morgan; Grandchildren: Carl (Jackie) Kincaid; Jael (Guillermo) Herrera; Joseph Morgan; Great-Grandchildren: Jessica (Jason) Dougherty; Shannon Kincaid; Seth (Amber) Kincaid; Andie (Garrett) Rea; Jaxon (Mary) Kincaid; Jenae, Victoria & Davide Herrera; Great-great-grandchildren: Zoe Lyn and Parker Wilson Dougherty; Ellison Mae Kincaid; Arden Elise Rea. Preceded in death by Father, William W. Moore; Mother, Euphrasia Moore; Husband, Carl Morgan, Siblings: Grace Marie, Robert, Lois Mae, Mabel Doris, Margaret Lucille, John Bruce, and Barbara; Grandson, Keith Kincaid. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 13th, 11:00 a.m., at Casas Church, Barrier Chapel, 10801 North La Cholla Blvd., Oro Valley, AZ, 85742.
