Pauline Roth Cooper

COOPER, Pauline Roth 95, was called by the Lord to Heaven on January 12, 2018 in Tucson, AZ. Pauline was born on November 2, 1922 in Pittsburgh, PA. She married Theodore Cooper on November 26, 1946 in Pittsburgh and moved to Tucson, AZ in 1956. A devoted Catholic, Pauline was an active member of St. Cyril Parish for 61 years where she organized funeral luncheons, blood drives, and the religious education program. She was also a Eucharistic minister for home-bound parishioners. She believed in the value of Catholic School education, putting five children and four grandchildren through Salpointe. Known as the matriarch of the Cooper family, she always took great pride in her family and their accomplishments. She had a passion and talent for decorating personalized cakes for family, friends, and anyone she met. Pauline is predeceased by her husband Ted (1980). She is survived by her children, Martina (Dwaine) Swett, Theodore Cooper, Christopher (Cynthia) Cooper, Mary (Robert) Mallis, and Constance (Paul) Carter; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren with another on the way. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. with Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, 1050 N. Dodge. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cyril, 4725 E. Pima, followed by the burial at Holy Hope Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
