HERMAN, Janet Diane (DeCiancio) passed away on February 3, 2018. Born in Tucson on June 15, 1959, Janet was a proud graduate and dedicated employee of the Flowing Wells School District. She was preceded in death by her father, James DeCiancio; mother, Katy DeCiancio and partner, Jeff Stewart. Janet is survived by her son, Michael Herman; brothers, Douglas DeCiancio (Beth), James DeCiancio (Bernice) and Joel DeCiancio (Kate); grandchildren, Jordan Herman and Triston Herman; eleven nieces and nephews, and beloved lifelong friends, Stacy Trueblood (Everett) and Julie Treanor (Bob). Janet was known as a brilliant, humble, and unusually kind and generous person. Janet had music in her soul and enriched the lives of everyone she touched. The world will not be the same without her. A Memorial Service will held in Janet's honor on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1220 W. Magee Road, Tucson, AZ 85704 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Janet Herman Memorial Scholarship Fund at Flowing Wells Schools.
