Edward Petrone Edward A. Petrone was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on August 29, 1933 to Rosco and Olga (Buchta) Petrone. He passed away on May 29, 2017 in Springfield, Oregon. Throughout his life he lived in San Antonio, Texas, Seattle, Washington, Lewis River, Washington, Lowell, Oregon, Mckenzie Bridge, Oregon, and Eugene, Oregon. Ed graduated from Clover Park High School, and graduated from the University of Washington, College of Forestry. He served in the United States Army while in San Francisco and Germany. Ed worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 20 years, and then worked in taxes related to timber for the Internal Revenue Service for 20 years and for the Oregon Department of Revenue for 12 years. Ed enjoyed woodworking, tennis, hiking and mountain climbing. Ed is survived by his first wife Ramona Durham, his current wife Edie Moerschell, daughters Nancy Grossi and Andrea Petrone, sons Richard, Ryan, Stephen, and Patrick Petrone, step sons Garrett, Nathan and Zachary Beget and 11 grandchildren. Ed was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eugene. Ed’s Memorial Service will be 2:00pm on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Eugene YMCA. Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
