Ann "Pierce" C. Fitzsimmons
July 29th, 1941 - April 5th, 2018
FITZSIMMONS, Ann C., 76 of Tucson, passed away April 5, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 29, 1941 in Duluth Minnesota, to Donald and Stella Pierce. Mom's passions in life were with children, from tutoring them to having kids Bible Study. She was employed with the Boys and Girls Club and also the YMCA. Mom loved being involved within her community. Flowing Wells Community Effort Council, Drexel Heights Fire Department, Tri-West Community, Southwest Community Center, Alateen, Alanon and Archer Center. Mom loved spending time with family and friends, and taking trips to Nutrioso, as well as playing cards and traveling with her dear friend, Fred Rogers. Ann is survived by her children, Sharon, Steven (Kim), Sandy (Bruce) and Bernie (Rob); eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Les; mom, Stella; dad, Donald; sister, Jean; grandson, Bruce Alan and great-grandson, Damian Mikal. A Celebration of her life will be held at Little Mexico Restaurant, 2851 W. Valencia Rd., Tucson, AZ on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
