Gary A. Wisdom Longtime resident of Santa Cruz county and Tubac, passed away September 12, 2018 in his new home in Oro Valley after more than a year and a half fight with esophageal cancer. Gary was well known in the Nogales produce industry as co-owner of Sandia Distributors from which he retired in 2005. He volunteered for several years as a coach with Rio Rico Youth Hoops and as a 4th grade reading aide at Mtn. View Elementary. Gary loved world travel, deep sea and lake fishing, kayaking and hiking Madera Canyon (proudly making it up to the saddle). He was a published author and drummer extraordinaire. Most recently with the Green Valley Big Band Sounds and the Brass Band. He leaves behind his three girls! Angela, his beloved wife and best friend of 47 years; daughters, Katie Wisdom and Kelly Wisdom, both of Tucson. As per Gary's wishes, no services are planned. "You're the best"
