PARTAIN, Robert G. (Bob) of Corona de Tucson, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. He was born in El Paso, Texas. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 56 years (and best friend for 66 years) Betty Partain. They met while both were stationed in England with the USAF. Together they have two children: Robert Jr. (Dec) and Teri (Bill) Coghan: three grandchildren, Abbey, Brandon and Molly Coghan. Bob served in the USAF from 1952 - 1971. He proudly served in many locations, to include Vietnam. He was a Small Arms Instructor as well as "Armament Systems Specialist". He also worked at the Smithsonian at Mount Hopkins. Bob served with the Border Patrol in Tucson from 1975 to 1994, stationed at the Ajo/Mission location. Receiving the U.S. Department of Justice Immigration and Naturalization for Outstanding Performance of Official duties many times. Services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd.
