Benjamin Overton Benjamin Overton passed away May 2, 2017 from cancer at home near Pleasant Hill, OR. He was born October 2, 1947 to Fred and Alice Overton. He had four siblings; David, Tom, Susan (Stafford) and Steve. His survivors are two brothers and a sister and also his half sister Wanda Emerson. He has three children, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and youngest brother Steve. He was also known as Gentle Ben, his biker name. He was part of the Free Souls Motorcycle Club for over forty years. He enjoyed his job of driving a log truck and was good at it. He was kind and protective and liked to help people, we loved him. There will be a graveside service Saturday May 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Lane Memorial Gardens, Eugene.
