Brooks LaValle Beckner

Brooks Lavalle Beckner passed away May 30, 2019 on hospice in Tucson, Arizona. He was born January 16, 1933 to Warren and Lydia (Bogner) Beckner in Fargo, North Dakota. He was greatly influenced by living his early life during the Great Depression and World War II. He worked many years as a purchasing agent of electronic parts for Chamberlain Manufacturing and Burr Brown Corporation in Nogales and Tucson, Arizona, retiring at age 65. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather with a strong faith in God. He is preceded in death by his spouse Nancy Leigh Beckner (Harrell). He is survived by his sister, Mary Iorio of Santa Barbara, California, by daughter Rachel Beckner, partner Gary Manriquez and grandchildren Jordan Fosmire, Tanner Fosmire, Riley Fosmire, and Madison Fosmire, great grandchild Odin, and by son Paul spouse Stephanie and grandchildren Trevor Bravo, and Chance Beckner. Brooks faced his terminal illness with courage, strength, and dignity. He never wavered in spirit and his kind compassion for others. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. He is joining his loving wife Nancy in the arms of the Lord. Heaven has accepted a brand-new angel. Private graveside services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 6:00 pm at South Lawn Cemetery.
