In Loving Memory of Marie Nau Taylor 96, who passed away on September 17, 2019 in Tucson, Arizona. Marie was born May 23,1923 to Lester and Helen Nau in San Bernardino, CA. Marie was a homemaker, real estate agent. Marie is a graduate of University of Iowa. After graduation she worked for the the Girl Scout council. She volunteered at Hands of Hope for many years. Marie was involved in choir at El Camino and a charter member. She was involved in many ministries,Bible Study Fellowship, Lifetime member of PEO, HCB radio. She hosted many foreign missionaries in her home and Jackson Williams from the Navajo nation. She was an accomplished seamstress and made squaw dresses for others during rodeo season. Marie was a resident of Cascades of Tucson. She had many special caregivers from Bayada, Jackie and Jan. Marie is survived by Anne Taylor, Mary Taylor,Larry Taylor, Ann(Steve)Jansen, Barbara(Bob) Taeger, Tom(Marti)Olson, David(Terri)Olson. Marie is blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her first husband Albert Mathre who died in the Korean War, Edwin Taylor, Nick Taylor, Troy Mathre, Peter Covington. Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 1 pm at El Camino Baptist Church, 7777 E. Speedway with Pastor Ron Rushing. Special Thanks to Emblem Hospice for providing empathy, love and care during Marie's Final Journey To Heaven. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hands of Hope.
