James Gary McCalley , born May 9, 1957 in Cedar Rapids , Iowa. Passed January 5, 2020. He was the son of Mildred Maxine Schuttler and Cyrus Claude McCalley. He is survived by his wife , Quina (Fitzpatrick) , sons Wesley ( Christina ) , Benjamin ( Christina) and Forrest (Soraya), grandchildren Rebekah, Daniel, Addylen , Evelyn, Lacey and Liam. He is survived by his father Cyrus , step mother Ann, sister Penelope and brothers Mark and Steve ( Merry). He is preceded in death by his loving mother Maxine and brother Mike. Jim was a lifelong Tucsonan , attended Sam Hughes Elementary, Mansfeld Jr. High and Tucson High School ( 75). He was employed at U of A and leaves behind many great friends and colleges that he loved working with throughout the years. Jim served as President of Tucson Pop Warner Raiders Football Team and as President of Sertoma International, always working to give back to his community. He was a kind and gentle man but above all he was a gentleman.
