Delbert Monroe Pierce

Del Pierce went home to be with God on April 2, 2024.
Delbert Pierce was born on December 6, 1957, to mother Aileen and father James Pierce Sr. in Salida, Colorado.
Del was a very talented craftsmen and enjoyed helping friends and family with various home projects where he could put his talent to use to help others. He enjoyed the outdoors where he spent his youth and adult years hunting and fishing the areas around Buena Vista. He had a very calming demeanor around people and showed patience under some incredible situations. He approached life with a love of family, God, and a great sense of humor.
He was the very best of all of us.
Del worked for the City of Greeley Co Parks department for 4 decades retiring in 2023.
Del is survived by three brothers and their wives Tracy and Debbie, Calvin and Tina, Roy and Dee Dee, his nieces Darla Nesshoffer, Jasmin Thorp, Tammy Dawn Pierce, and Wendy Pierce and nephews Roy Dean Pierce Jr., James Barrett Pierce, Jesse Pierce, Joshua Pierce, and Jacob Pierce.
Del is preceded in death by his parents Aileen and James Pierce Sr., and his brothers John Pierce and James Pierce Jr.
Services will be held on June 22, 2024, at 10:00am.
