Robert Bowman On Nov. 4, 2019, Robert (Bob) Bowman peacefully passed away from cancer at his home surrounded by his family. Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and a friend to many. He was born Oct. 6, 1943 to Sam and Alice Bowman in Williston, North Dakota. He was the oldest of 7 children. On July 17, 1962 he married the love of his life, Karen Jean Ellis in Eugene, Oregon. In 1963 they welcomed their first of five children to the family, Bonnie Louise, 1965 Timothy Robert, 1966 Gena Luree, 1968 Melissa Jo, 1969 Clifford Wayne. Throughout his lifetime he worked many different jobs with his longest span doing what he loved most, driving truck. Bob had a passion for trading anything and everything: furniture, guns, knives, tools; but most of all he loved to trade cars and trucks. He loved his family greatly and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grand babies. In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by all five children and their spouses, 13 grand children, 12 great grand children, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Bob was a kind, hardworking, devoted family man. His legacy will live on forever in our lives and hearts.
