Ofelia “Sally” Ramirez Soza, 90, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2022. Sally is preceded in death by her mother Susana “Bemo” Perez, husband Bladimir “Bladdie” Soza, son Ronnie, daughter Debra, brothers Alex and George, and sisters Mary, Lupe, Lolly, and Rose. She is survived by children Phillip “Boy” (Sandy) Soza, Patricia Alegria, Michael (Angelica) Soza, 16 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Sally quit school at the age of 14 to help raise her sisters and retired from the food service industry from her most recent position at a sorority house at the U of A. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and a member of the Legion of Mary at St. Ambrose Church. Sally was a compassionate, loving, and understanding person who liked going to the movies, eating out, and spending time with her family. She will be missed immensely by all, as she is now with the love of her life, dancing away with her family. Visitation will be held at Adair on Thursday, June 9, from 8:30 am – 9:30 am. The Mass and Rosary will be held Thursday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church located at 300 South Tucson Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85719. The Rosary will be at 10:00 am, with the Mass following at 10:30 am. The burial will follow immediately after the Mass at Holy Hope Cemetery at 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705. Please post a memory, a picture or send condolences to the family on the Tribute Wall.
