Donna Jean Hamilton

Donna Jean Hamilton, age 78, passed away suddenly Friday, September 9th, in Tucson, AZ. She was born December 11th, 1943 in Mitchell, IN to Earl & Loretta Blackerby. Donna lived the majority of her life in Bedford. She worked at the Bedford Medical Center, several years at Lockenour Chiropractic, and eventually started her own real estate office, Hamilton & Associates, in Bedford. She met and married Bob Hamilton in 1987, where they lived in both Bedford and Bloomington until 2017. Donna loved working with her clients, helping them find a new home. She loved her church, her friends and very much her family. She never passed up an opportunity to show pictures of her grandkids to anyone and everyone! She served on the Bedford Chamber of Commerce, was active in the community, and enjoyed traveling around the state. Later in life, she lived in South Carolina and ended up in Arizona - both around her family. Donna is survived by a brother, 4 sisters, her 3 sons and their wives (Tim & Jenni Johnson, Troy & Eileen Johnson, and Scott & Robyn Johnson), 9 grandchildren (Alex, Emily, Jacob, Krystian, Mahriah, Sygourni, Nytasha, Anna Grace & Carly), and 5 great grandchildren (Rylie, Dalton, Eliott, Luke & Sam) The family will be having a private memorial for her and asking for no donations or flowers.
