Born August 18, 1949 Douglas, Arizona Entered Eternal Rest February 5, 2017 Tucson, Arizona Hector Leyva was born August 18, 1949 in Douglas Arizona. Hector entered the United States Army Reserves in 1968, and received an Honorable Discharge in 1972 when he moved to Tucson and entered the Construction Field. Hector was a Construction Superintendent for several large construction firms in the Tucson Area. Hector then went to work for the City of Tucson Planning and Zoning/Building Safety, where he retired. Hector is survived by his wife Ana, children Sylvia Bowles, Cynthia Inorio, and Hector Leyva, Siblings Luis, Alfonso, and Angie. Hector is also survived by his 8 grandchildren who were the light of his life. Hector is preceded in death by his parents Angel and Maria Leyva. The family would like to thank the family and special friends who made his last year surrounded with love and laughter. Friends and Family may help us celebrate Hector's life with traditional Catholic Rites: Rosary will be at 9:30 on Monday, February 13th. The mass will follow at 10:00. Both services will take place at St Francis de Sales Church 1375 S. Camino Seco Tucson, AZ. The burial will be at East Lawn on East Grant Road immediately following.
