Christine Annette Hewitt died December 31st, 2016 from cancer at the age of 54. Christine is survived by her loving son Jesse and daughter-in-law Gabrielle as well as by Christine's siblings Jerry, Debbie, Susan and John. Christine was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on May 4, 1962, but she spent most of her life in Tucson, Arizona. She was a graduate of Sahuaro High School class of 1980 and took courses at Pima Community College. Christine loved the outdoors and activities such as sand rails, car racing, and travel. She was fond of contests and frequently won radio promotions and other prizes, often generously giving the prizes to friends and family. She was a hard worker and was frequently recognized by employers and coworkers for her tireless work ethic and positive attitude. Christine loved animals, especially dogs, and always had one or more pets in the house with her. Christine was a caring person who helped others at personal cost. In their later years, Christine was a caregiver for her father Jeruel Hewitt and mother Dorothy Hewitt
