Sally "Hammans" Marie McKee

Sally Marie (Hammans) McKee, 63 years old from Tucson, Arizona was born in Kearney, Nebraska and died at the Foothill Rehab Center in Tucson, Arizona. Sally was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Jimmy Allen McKee in 2014. Sally was also preceded in death by her Father and Mother Elton Lloyd Hammans and Clara Elizabeth (Otto) (Hammans) Pierce of Gibbon, Nebraska. Her sisters: Carolyn Lorraine (Hammans) Snyder, Nancy Kay (Hammans) McKee and Vernell June (Hammans) Pisha. Sally is survived by her sister Betty Jean Lewis-Ward of Sierra Vista, Arizona. Her niece Bonnie (Greene) Rivera of Springfield, Virginia; and her Nephew Michael Pisha of Kingman, Arizona; and her Great-Nephews: Jon-Pawl Rivera of Springfield, Virginia; Tyler Pisha of San Diego, California; Travis Pisha of Kingman, Arizona. Sally received her special education at the Cozad Nebraska State School. She was a very hard worker. She worked for the University of Nebraska Hospital in the laundry room for many years, and then she was an assembly worker putting together plastics that everyone uses in the home. Sally and Jimmy lived in Omaha Nebraska for many years and had several dogs they enjoyed like they were their own children. They really enjoyed fishing and traveling. They moved to Arizona in 2008 and enjoyed the sunshine and the freedom of not working. Sally was loved and will be missed by all that knew her. She had a wonderful, great and happy spirit about her.
