Deacon George B. Scherf
May 7th, 1940 - January 27th, 2020
Deacon George Scherf was called by the Lord on Monday, January 27, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pam; his daughter, Heidi (Doug) Sturm; his son, Chris; three terrific grandchildren, Mallorie, Rachel Sturm, and Kenny Frable. He also has two great-granddaughters, Avery and Ember. He is also survived by his brother, Tom; sisters, Teresa (Dan) Crowley, and Lorelei (Joe) Zamarron. Visitation will be held Monday, February 3, 2020 from 5:00-8:30 pm with a Rosary at 7:30 pm at St. Odilia Catholic Church, 7570 N. Paseo Del Norte, where he served as their deacon for 42 years. The Funeral Mass will be held at the church at 10:30 am on Tuesday, February 4, 2020.
