James "Jimmy" E. Williams
May 9th, 1938 - February 17th, 2020
James "Jimmy" Williams of Tucson, AZ, passed away February 17, 2020 at the age of 81 with his family by his side.He was born to Ernest and Grace Williams on May 9, 1938, in Clay City, Kentucky. He married Tena McDaniel on June 16, 1961, in Tucson, AZ, then two months later was drafted into the military, where he served two years in the Army before returning and having two daughters, Tanya and Kimberly. After the military, he drove a gas tanker truck for Texaco until he retired. In his retirement he enjoyed telling stories, building cars, watching NASCAR, and spending time with his seven grandchildren, Amanda, Kayla, Dean, Bubba, Woody, Jimmy, and Reign, who he loved and adored. If you knew Jimmy, you loved him. He was a wonderful husband, father, Papa, and friend. At his request no services will be held, and instead a celebration of his life will be held on March 28, 2020.
