Lori Sue Michaelson

Lori (Rossen) Michaelson, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2021, in Tucson, Arizona. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, David, parents George and Bette Rossen, and grandparents, Ray and Ebba Sawyer. She is survived by her sisters, Victoria (Richard) Miller of Tunkhannock, PA, Roxie Canavan of Apalachin, NY, and her brother Tim Rossen, also many wonderful nieces and nephews. She graduated from OFA High School in Owego, NY, and earned her degree from the State University of New York in Binghamton. She was always so grateful to her family, friends, and caregivers who helped her so much over the years along her journey. She was devoted to her fur babies, Brandy, Leia and Lola, who gave her many hours of enjoyment. She enjoyed many different activities including digital scrapbooking, geneology, board games, music, and visiting parks. She loved living next to the Catalina Mountains. The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date. Lori was an avid supporter of the "Canine Companions" organization. In honor of her love of dogs, anyone wishing to donate may do so to an animal shelter of their choice.
