Joyce Byers, Loving wife, Sister and Mother departed this earthly realm on November 2nd 2021 after many years battling cancer. Joyce was the consummate survivor and faced her battle with tremendous will and determination. She was an avid lover of nature, animals, and devout in her faith in our lord God. She was born in Sewickley Pennsylvania to Donald M. Ryan and Iva E Ryan on May 6th 1942. She was preceded by and welcomed by her sister Gay Recktenwald and Loving Daughter Bonnie S. Woods in our Lords heavenly realm. Joyce is survived by her Loving husband of 35 years Joseph T Byers, Her dear siblings, Sandra Stromboly, Donald E. Ryan, Darrel R Ryan, and Shelia A. Brown. Her son, Robert F. Kelley and daughter, Christine Byers as well as 4 grandchildren. A viewing will be held Monday November 8th from 6-8 PM and Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 9th at 11 AM at Desert Sunset Funeral Home. A private family burial will occur at a later date at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
