Barbara Huff

Barbara Tanner Huff passed peacefully into heaven on August 20th, 2023. Born in northeast Ohio in the small town of Green, December 24th, 1928, Barbara was the daughter of Dwight and Lucybelle Tanner, both career teachers. She and her younger brother Philip, were raised on the family farm near Warren, Ohio. Just out of high school , Barbara met and married Richard Huff. They moved to Charleston, West Virginia for a short time before coming to Tucson for good in 1952. In Tucson they settled down and raised four children They celebrated their 76th anniversary in May 2023. Barbara was more than just a mother and homemaker, working outside of the home as a real estate loan processor. She was a woman of strong Christian faith and she also led her brother and all of her children to faith in Jesus. Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Richard, who passed just two months prior to her passing. She is survived by her brother Philip (Barbara) of Tallmadge, Ohio and her children, Penelope Bollin, Todd Huff (Patsy), Brad Huff (Julia), and Polly Crawford (Jeff), all of Tucson area and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be graveside services for both Barbara and Richard, in Tucson, at a date to be determined.
