September 28th, 1939 - February 16th, 2024
Susan Carol (Graves) Bourgois of Tucson, Arizona passed away Friday February 16th, at TMC Hospice Peppi’s House. Susan was born in Bismarck, North Dakota on September 28th, 1939. Susan married Neil Bourgois on October 3 rd, 1959 and started their journey. They lived in Mandan, North Dakota for a time before moving to Montana then to Tucson in 1967. Susan spent most of the early years of her marriage taking care of their 2 children and her husband. When their children were older, Susan started working again and spent time at Pima Community College, the Nursing College at the University of Arizona and Weiser Lock. After both Susan and Neil retired, they were traveling together with a delivery service. Susan enjoyed volunteer work at Mountain View Retirement Village and enjoyed spending time with all the residents. Their last residence was at Mountain View Retirement Village, the place they both enjoyed. Susan enjoyed working with miniatures and had several miniature doll houses. She and Neil were charter members of the Power from the Past Tractor Club and could be seen riding their tractor together in many events. Susan worked in the “barn” for the club when the club displayed at the Pima County Fair for many years. Susan is survived by her daughter Michelle Robinson (Forrest Robinson), Son Charles Bourgois (Leanne Bourgois); Grandchildren Chris Robinson (Allison Robinson), Veronica Griffis (Parker Griffis), Harrison Bourgois, Brandyn Becker; Great Granddaughters Alivia Sutton, August Robinson & Addyson Robinson.
