Lester T. Hansen Senior was born January 5th, 1946, in San Diego, California to Carl and Elsie Hansen and passed March 2nd, 2024 in Tucson, Arizona. Lester has two sisters Anna Chamberlin who lives in Tucson, AZ and Karla who passed in 2021. Lester loved sports; he played softball from 1956 to 1958 and loved bowling. He bowled from the time he was 10 until later in life when he would share his love of bowling with his grandkids. He took part in several Arizona Bowling Tournaments and bowled his first 300 games on March 5th, 1973 at Cactus Bowl. Lester enlisted in the United States Navy April 22nd, 1965 and served as a Boatswain’s Mate Third Class / E5 on the USS Middlesex County LST983 ship. He was honorably discharged October 24th, 1969. Lester has two children Christine Eve and Lester Hansen Junior (Jay) who live in Tucson, Arizona. He married Sharon Hansen March 6th, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada where he gained two stepchildren Ron and Becky. They shared the last 35 years together. Lester has 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren that he absolutely loved. Lester’s heart touched many families and friends lives and he will forever be remembered
