December 21st, 1923 - July 31st, 2016
Joseph Eugene Ross was born in Webber Falls, Oklahoma on December 21, 1923 and passed away in Tucson, Arizona on July 31, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 72 years of Marriage, Maxine Ross, a brother; Frank Ross, children, Mike and Rhonda Ross, Teresa Johnson and Steve, Regina White and Dave, Gene Ross and Irene and was preceded in death by one son, Billy Ross. His grandchildren; Todd, Troy, Michael, Geno, Brandi Ross Singer and Jeff Scanlon. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Chris Scanlon. His great-grandchildren; kayla Angulo, Jake and Joe Scanlon, Maddie, Christian, Rylan, Mia, Savannah, Reed, Ronnie, Callie, Bailey, Bryden, Bentley and Remington Ross. He was an Army Air Corp Pilot in WWII, He owned and operated his own construction company for many years retiring 27 years ago in 1989. He loved to spend summers at their cabin in Pinetop, Arizona. He was an avid outdoorsman hunting, fishing and horseback riding. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 601 E Fort Lowell Road, Tucson, Arizona. There will be concluding service with inurnment of his cremated remains in Holy Hope Cemetery to follow the mass.
