June 21st, 1939 - August 18th, 2016
Frank S. Lundgren Jr., 77, Widower, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great-grand father, and Friend. He was born in Patterson, New Jersey on June 21, 1939 and passed away in Tucson, Arizona on August 18, 2016 Before his health forced him into retirement, Frank served as a Roman Catholic Deacon for the Diocese of Tucson, Construction Superintendent, Aircraft Pilot, and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. Frank was preceded in death by his wife 45 years, Gail. He leaves behind his loving children Christopher, Sharon (Michael) Morgan and David; grandchildren Amanda (Jared), Stephen, Connor, Kyle and Ryan and 3 great–grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Anna (Daniel) Doolittle, brothers Jan (Kathleen) and Carl (Cheryl). May God embrace him and welcome him home. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb Road. Visitation will be at 9:30 AM, Recitation of the Rosary at 10:00 followed by a Funeral Mass. Concluding service and interment will follow mass in Holy Hope Cemetery.
