Florence Rice
March 25th, 1921 - September 10th, 2016
Florence "Flo" Rice, 95, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away September 10, 2016. Born in Chicago, IL in 1921, she moved to Tucson, AZ in 1951. Flo served in the Navy during WWII in Washington DC. She worked as a Nurse Assistant at St. Joseph's Hospital for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harry Rice and her son Steven. She is survived by their children, Patricia(Don), Harry(Cindy), Mike, and Kathy(John); 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She will be missed by many. Visitation to be held Wednesday, September 14, at 5:00 pm at Angel Valley FH. Funeral Mass, Thursday, September 15, at 11:00 am St. Thomas More Catholic Newman Center followed by internment at Holy Hope Cemetery.
