Hans Jacobson
July 19th, 1971 - February 27th, 2017
In loving memory of Hans Erik Jacobson who was born in Washington, D.C. on July 19th, 1971 to Claudia and Herman Jacobson. He was baptized and confirmed at the Lutheran Church of St. Andrews in Silver Springs, Maryland. Hans Erik Jacobson is survived by Loving, True Friend, Soulmate and Wife, Venus Ann Jacobson, Devoted Daddy's pride and joy, Sons Leif Michael Jacobson 12 years old and Lance Evan Jacobson 10 years old, his grandmother, Granny the "Queen" Helen Martin, his Proud Parents Herman and Claudia Jacobson, Cherished Sisters Kari Jacobson and Kristina Freeman (Christopher) Niece and God Daughter Sofia Smith and Niece Annika Smith, nephew Conner Freeman and God Father Bill Hart, cousins, aunts, uncles and loving Mother In-Law and Aunt- In Law. Hans graduated in 1989 with academic honors and head of the Football Team at Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Springs, Maryland. During his Junior Year in High School, Hans received a Congressional United States nomination to US Naval Academy. Hans was a nominee to the US Naval Academy because of his demonstration of leadership, commitment to education, self discipline and sense of social responsibility. Hans possessed the exceptional qualities " Excelling Academically and Athletically". After a very competitive, lengthy and rigorous process, Hans was among the brightest and best elite few selected based on his academic excellence, superior test scores, top physical condition and having self- motivated leadership throughout his high school career. Hans received the honor of appointment to Attend from the Naval Academy Adminissions Board. First Class Midshipman-Annapolis, MD, (July 1990-May 1994) majored in Economics. Bachelor of Science Degree, University of Maryland -Bachelor of Science in Business Management (Graduated 1995-GPA 3.6) Hans owned and operated a large business with 15 employee underneath him "Jacobson Lawn Landscaping"company in Silver Springs, Maryland." specialized in one of a kind custom Asian water fountains. Hans met and fall in love with Venus on August 18, 2001- within a few months he had sold his business to move out to Tucson, Arizona. It was love at first sight and throughout their 17 years together the couple was blessed with a strong family bond which was unbreakable and the unconditional love for each other undeniable. My husband, soulmate and best-friend Hans, the absolute love of my life. Your love and friendship was a gift most valued and cherished. You had such a talent for bringing special meaning to my life and those around you, it was such a pleasure to be your wife. You were a man of honor, kindness and humility. Hans, you were like my rock strong, faithful and true. You always absorbed my worries at times of trouble, I would hid behind your existence feeling safe and secure. You were always so dedicated and your family your greatest joy in life. Hans was a dedicated Christian, a hardworking businessman, an adoring loyal husband, loving proud father, & a trustworthy & honest friend. His legacy of kindness, compassion, & humility will live on through our sons & those who have cared for him. Hans was a family man who made my sons & I top priority. He lived to love, protect & guide us. He was taken from us too soon & will always be loved beyond words and missed beyond measures. We have just paid our Final Tribute of respect for Hans' dignity & patriotism to his country, family & friends. We honored Hans with a Final Salute to thank him & shared our expression of appreciation for his faithful service, kindness & loyalty to our family. Hans was & still is the rock that holds our family together. He had a heart of gold with a natural God gifted ability to bring happiness & laughter to others. Hans could brighten up the most darkest of days. Hans, your life was a blessing. Your memories a treasure. Hans you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measures. We will miss you, your family. Hans Erik Jacobson- Attended Concord Law School "2008-2010" Hans continued his passion for Real Estate by pursing Mortgage Loans "2009-2013" Geneva Financial LLC, Tucson, Arizona Loan Officer/ Assistant Training Manager Enterprise Holdings Corporation Branch Manager/ Sale "2013-2016" Held for over a year average between top 8-12 ranked "TOP" producer out of 150 Branch Manager in the state of Arizona Angel Valley Funeral Home located at 2545 N. Tucson Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85716 Wednesday, March 8th, 2017- Reception will be from 5pm-7pm following a service from 7pm-8pm. First Class Midshipman Hans Erik Jacobson - Honorable Naval Memorial Burial was; March 23th, 2017 at 1pm- Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana- located at 15950 N. Luckett Road in Marana, AZ - take exit 236 the main Marana exit, turn west onto Sandario Road, then right on west Marana Road and right on North Luckett Road to the end. On behalf of myself and my family, we would like to thank all of you for your help, compassion and sympathy at one of the most difficult times of our lives. Because of you, we were able to have a beautiful memorial. We will never forget your sincere kindness to our family. I know Hans is grateful and is with us!
