Mark Anthony Hope August 22, 1956 –January 9, 2011 Mark Anthony Hope, the youngest of six children, was born August 22, 1956 to Walter DeLacey Hope and Fern Elaine Jacobs Hope in Morrisania Hospital in the Bronx, New York. He attended the Grace Lutheran School in the Bronx. He then graduated from Evander Childs High School in the Bronx. Mark joined the United States Air Force in 1979, after which he was stationed in Tucson, Arizona one year later. While in Tucson, he met Rosemary Elaine and her daughters Shannon and Michelle and her son Sean. They were then married July 31, 1982 and soon after were stationed at Incirlik Air Force Base in Incirlik, Turkey for two years. During that time they had their daughter Ramona. They then moved back to Tucson in 1985 and soon after they had their daughter Seyhan. After an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force, Mark enrolled in the University of Arizona to pursue his passion to write. During his junior year he took a leave of absence to pursue this talent full time until his graduation to be with the Lord January 9, 2011. Both Mark and Rosemary were active members of the Door Christian Fellowship Church; where they were married and took a stand to nurture their family in the love of Christ. When the Lord called Mark home, he was an active member of Grace to the Nations Church. He was a member of the choir, aided the media production staff, and attended the Men’s Christian Retreat; where he was winning souls for Christ. Mark will be missed by his brothers Steven and Michael Hope; sisters Sharon and Madeleine Hope; Children Shannon and Ray Palmer, Michelle and Shaun Fitzgerald, Ramona Hope, Seyhan Hope; Niece and Nephew Mrs. Aya Shabu and Sean Hope; Aunt Connie Hope, Cousin Beverly Peterson (BJ); and grandchildren Ashly, Taylor, Allena, Katrina, Kamien, and Shyla.
