Lauren Estep
April 5th, 1937 - April 4th, 2012
The last of his generation, Lauren Elvan Estep aged 74 passed on to rest on April 4th 2012.Lauren left behind a son, Elvan Lauren Estep, and a daughter, Erma Louise Bailey. Lauren was also the Grandpa of six and the Greatgrandfather of two. His best friend and “adopted” son, David Lozano. Also surviving his wife Sue Estep, and two generations of nieces and nephews. Lauren had been a member of a 12-step program for more than 36 years. Along the road to recovery, he met several friends and they traveled on a trusted journey together. There was not a thing this “Wild Man” could not make. “Tinkering” was his lifelong career. Lauren could and would make more contraptions than most people. With barb wire and a little of this and a little of that his ideas would come to fruiation, amazing anyone with his originality. A memorial with his friends will commence on April 29, 2012 at 2pm at the Sunrise Chapel in Tucson, Arizona. Lauren’s final resting place will be in the Rattlesnake Hills, above Sunnyside, WA. His family from Washington will be able to say their final goodbyes on the old beloved homestead.
