Angel Valley Funeral Home & Old Pueblo Crematory
John Gominsky
August 4th, 1956 - June 5th, 2012
Sometimes a journey begins at the end of the worldly existence… A silence is heard far away when the trials of life are resolved … And the journeys path stretches over the stars to reach a place of peace. John Michael Gominsky, 55, left us on June 5, 2012, for an endless ride in eternal sunshine above the clouds on his favorite 1956 Panhead Harley chopper. John was born August 4, 1956, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Sylvester and Gladys Gominsky. He was the youngest of ten children. John worked for Lear Jet for 26 years as a finishing specialist for the jet interiors. He loved his work but his passions were his vintage motorcycles. They often held a place of honor in the living room of his home. John lived his life exactly as he chose, a strong man, ready to defend, with a quick wit, a brilliant smile and a huge heart. John was a talented artist often giving his drawings away to anyone he met along the way. John is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Maynard and sister Marieann. Surviving siblings: Lester, Elsie and Elizabeth of Minnesota; Sandra, Kenneth and James of California; and his sister Suzie of Tucson, Arizona. Children: John Gominsky, Jr and daughter Rhonda Verdugo, both of Tucson, Arizona, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. John is also survived by the love of his life, Cindy Felix. At John’s request, there will be no services; and his family will honor his wishes to be privately interred with his parents. John Michael will always have a place in the hearts of everyone he touched and will be missed by many. Condolences may be left on the guest book page.
