Thomas E. Miller
July 12th, 1934 - April 16th, 2014
Thomas E Miller, 79, of Vail AZ passed away on April 16, 2014 in Tucson AZ. Formerly of Moundsville WV and Benson AZ and the only child of Paul Loman Miller and Lieucindia Ellen (McMillan) Miller of Moundsville WV. He is survived by his wife Jean Anne (Wheelin) Miller, children Christine (Scott) Guinane, Thomas J (JoLeen) Miller, and John (Sonya) Miller and 3 grandchildren. After he served 10 yrs as a US Marine, in the Korean War and as an MP, he worked for Hughes aircraft as a tool and die maker for 35 years. He enjoyed many interests: golfing, bowling, piloting small aircraft and remote control planes/yachts, lapidary/faceting, jewel smithing, rock hounding, painting, metal art, music, restoring classic cars, dog agility, boating/skiing, operating heavy equipment, Shriner, mixoligist, auctioneering, and his Harley. He could fix or build anything. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and we will see him again in glory. Life Celebration to be held at the VFW Post 549 in Tucson AZ on May 3rd at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
