Frank J. Anderson, born October 27, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York passed away November 25, 2012 in Tucson, Arizona. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1942 and served in the European and South Pacific theaters until 1946. On September 21, 1946 he married Marion (nee Viladesau) and they had two children, Craig and Dale. Frank joined the New York City Police Department in 1949 and served 27 years as a Sergeant before retiring to Tucson in 1976. He was a very talented artist, and adored all of his Doberman Pinschers. A devoted patriot, he will be greatly missed. Frank is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marion, his son, Craig, daughter Dale, grandsons, Jason Anderson and Jared Anderson, and great- grandchildren, Tyler, Sophia, and Isabella Anderson. Frank is also survived by his niece and nephew, Gwen and Robert Gallagher. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice and father, Frank and his brother, George. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm, Wednesday, November 28, 2012 and Thursday, November 29, 2012, with a Rosary to be recited, Thursday at 7:00 pm at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd. Mass will be offered Friday, November 30, 2012, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery, 2151 S. Avenida Los Reyes, with military honors by the Davis Monthan Base Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona or to TMC Hospice Peppi’s House. bringfuneralhome.com
