Jane Mellinger
March 16th, 1921 - May 29th, 2020
Jane LaRae (Getz) Mellinger, age 99, was born in Columbia, PA to John and Ethel Naomi (Welsh) Getz. Jane passed away with family at her side on May 29, 2020 in Tucson, AZ. Jane lived in Tucson since 1952. She loved the beauty of the Sonoran desert, spending time with her family and friends, travel, reading and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Richard (Dick). Jane was a resident of Fellowship Square from 2005- 2019 and a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church since arriving in Tucson. Jane is survived by her sons, Rick (Jill) of Tucson, John (Ellice) of Huntington Beach, CA, and Mark (Kirsten) MD of Flagstaff, AZ. She has nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
