FIGUEROA, Ruben G Age 67, formerly of Tucson. Born June 10, 1953. Passed away January 25, 2021 in Tucson. It’s with great sorrow and anguish in our hearts, that it happened at a time when we couldn’t as a family be there for him in those final days/moments. Unfortunately this is the case and means in times of a pandemic. We’re doing the best we can to try to come together as a family, to try to understand and begin the healing of such a pivotal loss of a wonderful man. After devoting 19 years to Bombardier Ruben retired. His work was best described as incredible, and well polished you could say. He was an amazing person with a vivacious personality and a beautiful soul. He was humorous, compassionate, and to us an extraordinary person. He appreciated the beauty of nature, the harmony of it, and everything in between. He was always good for a laugh, and boy did he do a fantastic job at it. To be near him was to be happy and joyous. So many memories were made and now to be cherished. He knew what mattered most, and to never sweat the small stuff. Life was meant to be lived and enjoyed, especially with family and friends by his side. We are so incredibly thankful for having such an influential person in our lives. He was beloved by so many. We will miss his practical jokes, his humor, his charisma and above all else his laughter. Ruben was survived by his Mother Refugio G Figueroa, Father Fred T Figueroa (preceded by death) Son Ruben Jr. Figueroa (Crissi), Son Roman & Jennifer Figueroa. Brother Fred Jr. Figueroa (preceded by death), Brother Carlos Figueroa (preceded by death), Sister Mercedes & Alberto Tapia, Brother Raul & Lisa Figueroa, Brother Michael Figueroa, Sister Ruth & Antonio Redondo. Grandchildren Ruben 3rd., Illeana, Ruby Ann, Roman Jr., Jerandra, Isaiah, Baby Azurae Adelita,. Two Great Grandchildren Anthoni, Itzilleana,. Many nieces and nephews. On behalf of the Figueroa family we thank you for your love, support and prayers during this time. If desired, please make a donation to St. Jude Children Research Hospital at stjude.org an organization/hospital very dear to Rubens heart. Thank you.
