Kimberly Lynn Suba

Kimberly Lynn Suba, beloved daughter,aunt, mother, and teacher, died Monday, March 21, 2022. She was 57 years old. A lifelong educator who passionately taught countless children, Kim was born Kimberly Lynn Lindquist on September 29, 1964 in Riverside, CA to parents Lennie and Bonnie Lindquist. She loved children from a young age, becoming a mentor and Christ-like role model to many. She was the embodiment of selfless devotion to others. Kim went on to pursue a degree in Education from the University of Arizona. Upon finishing her degree, Kim went on to teach in Sunnyside where she graduated. She team-taught 4th/5th grade with her former 4th/5th grade teacher, Iona, for many years. She then taught abroad in England at Tasis from 1993- 1995. Upon her return she taught elementary in Amphitheater School District. Her passion was to teach and minister to loan income students and their families. She would regularly go above and beyond her contract duties and visit students in their homes just to get to know them and minister to them. She married Bob Suba August, 1998 and became a mother May, 1999 to Mikayla Suba and again September, 2000 to Nathan Suba. She quit teaching for 13 years to raise her two children. Being a mother was one of her life long dreams. Her children were her world and the thing she was most proud of in life. Once her children entered high school she returned to teaching and pursued her masters degree in School Administration through Grand Canyon University. She went on to teach in Tucson Unified at Steele Elementary and was currently at Twin Peaks K-8 teaching Middle School science. She was preceded in death by her older sister Denise Lindquist and her father Lennie Lindquist. She is survived by Bonnie Lindquist (mother), Stan Lindquist (older brother), Mikayla Suba (daughter), Nathan Suba (son), Donna Suba (daughter in law), Tatianna Ventura Lindquist (niece), Brittney Kiel (niece), Jeremy Kiel (nephew in law), and Jordan and Ethan Kiel (grand nephews). Her commitment to improve the lives of others will remain unmatched. She lived a life worthy of Christ and beautifully displayed fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:10). Kim’s legacy will be long-lasting and ever-present in all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
