Richard Lopez Delahanty 05/15/1941 – 03/19/2022 Went to be with the Lord. Proceeded in death by his parents Carlos and Esther, siblings Emily, Fernando, and Carlos. His spirit will live through his wife Donna and his children Richard (Ann), Kimberly (Kern), Suzanne (Gilbert Jr.), and Brother Tommy. He was dearly loved by his eight grandchildren Ridge (Courtney), Nathan (Meagan), Stephanie, Racheal, Analicia (Tim), Gilbert, Alex, Katie and by his two great grandchildren Oliver and Scarlett. Richard loved his family, friends, nieces, nephews and godchildren. We are grateful for his service as a Navy man and a local hero here in Tucson serving as a firefighter and battling the historic Pioneer Hotel fire of 1970. He will be remembered for his generosity and his willingness to lend a helping hand. He was proud to be a Tucson High Badger and part of “The Chasers”. He cherished this group of friends so much. He enjoyed playing and watching golf. A visitation will be held at Angel Valley Funeral Home 2545 N. Tucson Blvd. Tucson, AZ 85716 From: 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
