Eva Carrasco Leon
August 3rd, 1922 - October 17th, 2018
Eva Carrasco Leon was born on August 3, 1922. She died on October 17, 2018 at the age of 96, and leaves behind an unparalleled legacy for her 46-year dedication as a foster mother for over 300 youth. She is pre-deceased by her parents Guadalupe and Francisco Carrasco, husband Rudolph G. Leon, son Rudy C. Leon, grandson Enrique Olivas and great-grand daughter Krysta Grycskowski. She is survived by her daughters Lupe Olivas (Henry, d) and Virginia Wortman (James, d), brother Alonso Carrasco (Romelia, d), 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren. Viewing is Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Bring’s Broadway Chapel (6910 E Broadway BL)from 6 to 9 PM. Rosary at 7 PM. Funeral Mass is Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church (1800 S Kolb Rd). Interment service will follow at Holy Hope Catholic Cemetery.
