Barbara Brewer

Barbara Brewer, 95, passed away peacefully in Tucson, Arizona on December 16, 2018. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she radiated a kind and generous spirit, was fun to be around and had a great sense of humor. She will always be remembered for her loving, caring devotion to family and friends. She will be deeply missed. Born and raised in Owosso, Michigan, where she married and raised her family, she served on the Salvation Army Board, and devoted time to the Red Cross, Girl Scouts and hospital auxiliary. Later she and her husband moved to Benzonia, Michigan, and enjoyed winters and made many friends in Tucson. She was predeceased by her parents, Jerry and Marjorie Cervenka, brother, Jerry Cervenka, and her husband of 67 years, Robert Brewer. Survivors include Mary Anne (Rich) Civiok, Janice (Myron) White, David (Julie) Brewer, seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Donations in her memory may be sent to the Salvation Army, Red Cross, or Community Food Bank.
