Delia Garcia, born May 17, 1956 to Manuel J. Garcia and Alice Medina. Delia best known as Dee, DeeDee and Mama Dee was born in Lordsburg, New Mexico where she graduated from Lordsburg High School and then attended Western New Mexico University where she received her degree in Physical Education. Dee then moved to Tucson,Az and lived there until her passing. She enjoyed taking her mom to church every Sunday accompanied by her sister Lucy, where they were always getting into some kind of trouble. Dee was a loving person, who would do anything for anyone. She will surely be missed. Dee is survived by her Mother Alice Garcia, brothers Manny, Joe, Lou, Art and Anthony and sisters Lucy, Paula, Lisa, and Annette all accompanied by there families. Dee is also survived by her partner of 21 years Diana Hatcher. She is predeceased in death by her father Manuel Garcia, brother's Richard and Thomas Garcia. Services will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at Bring's Funeral Home. Officiating services will be Caleb Perez, Pastor and Tommy Perez, Jr. of Cedar Hills Church of the Cross in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
